This case is almost the same case as the previous application. This case was treated with orthodontics and no teeth were removed. The teeth almost clear the bones on the posterior left, but growth of the mandible around ages (12-16) had no posterior lateral freeway space. The radiograph shows how the major adaptation occurred in the temporal fossa. Note the very flat articulating eminence on the right and steeper articulating eminence on the left. This patient can move her mandible right lateral 14mm+ and can only move her mandible left 2mm. The left condyle is jammed posterior and is the primary pain epicenter that has already changed her life.
